First, I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures. I was trying to snap the shoot using camera with flash, unfortunately by that time there was a shooting for local TV channel shows, so I didn't want to bother the crews with my flash light. Watch carefully the picture below, can you see the white shirt man standing in the middle of the room holding his big camera and tripod ? he was the cameraman, taking shoot of the preparation of famous "Mie Celor 26 Ilir" before being served.

Ooh...and they were also taking shoot of people who ate there, including me !! I hope my - way of eating - was not too greedy...hehe..

And I am so glad that I was wearing my favorite pink stripes shirt :p

mmmmm......don't you think the pink stripes shirt will looks good on TV !

Noodle lover, let me introduce the celebrity noodle from my city, please welcome "Mie Celor 26 Ilir". No intention to be exaggerated , but this noodle has been appeared in many TV shows (especially traveling & culinary), both local & national. Even, the group head from Jakarta head office often brought this noodle back to Jakarta when he had a visit in my city. No one could forget the taste, too authentic.

Mie means noodle, celor means stirring or soaking ( I think ), and 26 ilir is the location of this noodle restaurant, near the 26 ilir traditional market. Follow the red arrow, its the second door from the corner, yes that's the place - please, the arrow is NOT pointing at the man -

What you will find in Mie Celor : special big and fat noodle, chopped shrimps & egg, bean sprout, chopped leak and fried union. Basic ingredient for the sauce is coconut milk and shrimps stock. The price for regular portion is only Rp. 9.500,- but you can ask for more noodle or shrimps or eggs and of course they will charge for that. For those who love rich and thick spicy sauce dishes, it's worth to taste for.
